Nicki is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Human Factors and Systems Science, working on an Australian Research Council funded project to develop a new model of teamwork for Human-Autonomy Teams.

Nicki recently completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, where she applied human factors and systems thinking approaches to understand and improve clinicians’ use of clinical decision support systems in hospitals. Alongside her doctoral research, she contributed to applied digital health projects, which included co-designing, implementing and evaluating virtual care initiatives across urban hospital environments and primary care services in remote First Nations communities.
